Very much misguided people. Take a look at my rather lengthly explanation of an experience I had with PETA at a question on vegetarianism submitted by: BLEEDINGEMOC. It would not surprise me if the a survey showed that "Most" members of PETA are pro abortionists.

Well theres already an association for feeding the homeless. People shouldnt where dogs, i mean look at the abuse to animals. That should stop. Dog's are man's best friends. I'm not an animal freak, but dont worry about Peta. Sometimes those humans on the streets do bad things, that's why they're on the street starving. I mean if u think humans are better than dogs, think again, we are all equal, but dont be dog crazy, becuase thats retarded. dogs dont go to war or kill each other and they dont wear us. some dogs starve on the streets and get run over by cars, so take pity on them and people starving on streets.

PETA financially supports groups like ALF and ELF (Animal Liberation Front, Environmental Liberation Front) that have been found guilty of setting buildings and cars on fire to protest construction or human habitat, as well as physically attacking people and stores that sell fur and leather.
As far as I am concerned, PETA is a criminal/terror organization that uses fear and intimidation to achieve goals that are contrary to American freedoms of choice. They also believe (and have published this) that animals are more important than humans, and the world would be a better place without any humans.
Say no to PETA. Support real environmental conservation, which treats nature as a renewable resource that we can USE without destroying.
Wear fur and leather, and eat meat. :)

I don't HATE them...I disagree with absolutely every single one of their dimwitted philosophies, but I don't HATE them.
I would much rather eat tasty animals than give PETA folks the benenfit of even a thought...so, really, the only time I ever think about them is when yet another group of people have been offended by (and are consequently suing PETA for) one of their boneheaded advertisements.

I am a animal lover. I have cows, goats, horses, dogs.....It is just the way I am. Obviously, you are not an animal lover. But, just because people love animals and try to help them, doesn't mean that people don't help humans. I donate blood, help out at hospitals, host charities...i do a lot and i am an animal lover. I think that it is a little pathetic to say that....

i dislike Peta. i think they maybe a little short on common sense and reality. they are about more than just dogs, it's all animals they care about. i think that's what they say any way. they have a right to there opinion whether you and i like it or not. personally i think there ideas are a little off the wall. there is no way i will ever give up meat and potatoes.

PETA is also releasing tonnes of greenhouse gases every year by cutting down trees to make truckloads of flyers just to save a handful of chickens. Good cause, but the result doesn't seem worth the cost.

Not me, I kind of like PETA. People Eating Tasty Animals is like a way of life for me. Can't live without meat, I'm a carnivore.

i agree that animals should not be treated like dirt, but I think that PETA takes it to the next level and demands animals to be treated better than people. People are more important than animals.

I've always said that myself. Abused or starving children are much more important than some barking dog or deprived KFC chicken. Children are our future, not animals. I never got the reason why they hated how KFC was treating their chickens, they were going to kill them anyways.
