When I was young you never heard swearing on the television or
radio and students respected their teachers( at least enough not
to hit them etc). Students didn't blow eachother away, and parents
had control of their children. Violence has increased and values
have gone by the wayside. It is sad. I'm afraid of what is is going
to be like when my child attends school. There is also alot of
people in this country that don't respect our government or flag in
the least. I don't care if you don't share the same opinion but do
you have to publicly bash our nation in front of the world? I't sad
how little respect people have for eachother and this great nation we live in. Its not perfect but is anyone or any nation perfect?

the government. no longer of,by,and for the people. that goes from the federal down to the locall. they have become as corrupt as it gets. the representitives are supposed to be just that, represent the majority, but they only represent themselves. its like they are the enemy. this country was in a cold war for years against communism and now we support china. our freedoms are being taken away from us everyday. this is supposed to be a free enterprise system, but you cant open up a vegetable stand without a license. the constitution has been amended so many times that it now means nothing. our government needs an enima.

Discipline and Respect. I don't mean to insult young people but I am really concerned about the lack of discipline and respect I see in the lives of a lot of young people today. I am also the first to admit that much of the responsibility lies in the way my generation did or did not raise them as we were raised.

Murder...it was once a personal thing...now it's just something to do while riding around, now it's random and no place is safe, there are no society barriers, no religious conflict, it's impersonal and that means it could be you. That just scares me.
