The first Evildead movie was pretty scary. I also cant sit through Carrie without getting scared. VERY scary. The excorcist too. And the new Texas Chainsaw Massacre scared the snot out of me. Especially the end.

Some of my favorite scary movies are the asian horrors. The most disturbing was Audition. I also liked The Eye, Phone, Ju-on, and a Tale of Two Sisters.

If you're talking "scary" and not gross or weird - I'd have to say The Omen, The Blair Witch Project, the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and the first Halloween movie.

I am not a horror fan. Yet, I've seen so many. The scariest movie I really ever saw was "Event Horizon". It was just so believable, with no way out. Great performances all around. My girlfriend, a big horror fan, had an absolute fit! Great ,1997, Lawrence Fishburn movie.

There was movie about a dentist who's girlfriend cheated on him so he tortured her and her friends. Her friend went in for a dental appointment and he was trying to get some answers out of her friend . Her friend wasn't compling so he took a syringe of lidocane and jabbed it all the way through her friend's cheek . He tied his girlfriend to a chair and starting with her two front teeth, ripped her teeth clean out of her skull with a pair of pliers while her blood and teeth flowed down the back of her throat.
