Usually it takes me a long time to get to sleep, but when I wake up I usually feel fatigued, slow to walk, slow to move, and I find difficulty in this. Is this normal? If not, what could it mean?

I do dream and usually when I go to sleep I don't constantly wake up to use the bathroom or things like that.

Use a BREATHE RIGHT nasal strip. Your not breathing in your sleep right. Try them, they are cheap, and DO make a big difference. Don't take drugs, especially the Ambian, as it will screw up your sleep pattern, and only make things worse.

I don't know how old you are, but if you really want to know, if you're really worried about it, go to the doctor. I had a friend who was so used to being tired all the time he didn't think anything of it, only to be told by his wife that he sometimes stopped breathing at night. Turned out he has sleep apnea. He's got a maching now and sleeping great. So what it is just depends. I have nights where I toss and turn a lot and wake up tired. If you're really worried, go see your doctor.

Yeah, sure sounds like sleep apnea to me. I have it and go through the same experience. My C-PAP machine doesn't seem to work to well.
Are you sleepy thoughout the day? Do you wake up a lot during the night, frequently using the bathroom? And do you have dreams (I didn't for a long time)? These are all signs of sleep apnea.

Maybe you just need some vitamins, or you are not getting enough sleep at night. Or maybe you need a new mattress. You really do need a good mattress to get a good nights sleep
