Hi, there acutally is a train as well as a bus. I'd recommend the train to the bus. And for the racist people who responded to the question it's undocumented not illegal, and you can't tell just by looking idiots. It's sad that you all exist.

My understanding is that there is a trolley that goes from the U.S. side of the Tijuana border-point to downtown San Diego.

You could get a cab for $3-8USD from almost anywhere in town to the border. From the border take the train into San Diego.

yes, and there are no illegals, it's greyhound and it goes from tijuana to san ysidro, and then it goes to san diego. the stupid user who said there were illegals needs to be in the tijuana to know, only LEGAL mexicans with visas cross, (obviously anybody else entering legally to the U.S.)

yes, but there are too many illegals on it for you to get a seat, even if you are really friendly to the drivers.
