Please Help Me Pick Out My Dress!?

Question

I'm going on a Carnival Glory cruise to the Caribbean. There are 2 formal nights where everyone (who wants to have a nice dinner, at least) dresses up. I know that Carnival cruises don't really have strict requirements for ball gown dresses for the Captain's gala night, so I've picked some cute and pretty cocktail dresses. I'm going to buy them on Ebay. Here they are:

I would go with the white one in the first group, because of the fabric it would really flow and look special on a cruise.
the black one in the first group. I would get one on the more causal side and one a little more formal, see what other guests are wearing and make your selection from that. If you buy a classic sexy little black dress for the more formal option trust me you will use it again. :)

I really like the first one. It is more sophisticated and I love the design. On a down note did you notice that the gown is in China? And the pricing is not US. So only you can decide but I will never buy any thing from that far away. If the delivery is good you are looking at 4 to 6 weeks unless it is a custom order. In my store I used to order items and the quality was just not there. I tried to order off e-bay once from England and got no merchandise and paid more that I would have in my own town. OK, i like the last one in the first group, and the last one in the second group, those are both really pretty, but I personally didn't care for the others. If it's a cruise, and it's during this time of year, I would stay away from black and either wear white, or something colorful, just my opinion though. Good luck, hope I helped. I vote for the first one, the brown one. I prefer the less frilly look (you may not agree) and I think the shape is elegant and the neckline original. Plus brown is a good fashion color and a nice alternative to black or white, while still classic. If you consider this one I guess you would need to decide how you feel about brown--some people love it, some don't.

both are very pretty and considering the fact that there are 2 formal nights u could buy them both- u picked out very gorgeous dresses -very sexy w/o showing too much skin.

The very first one listed is the one I would choose out of these. The two dresses in white both look like undergarment slips, and quite frankly, I would snicker if I saw any woman wearing them! Have fun.

The first one looked the nicest for formal wear. The others were
nice too but it looked like something that everyone else would
wear. On your second list, the last two looked nice for day wear.

I have also been on a cruise, but you do not have to purposely buy a dress for the formal nights at the cruise. It does not matter what you really wear there. you can chose to just wear a skirt, and it does not really matter. Believe me and do not waste your money on this.

well if there was a picture of u or something to know ur skin tone and all, it would be easier to pick a dress that suits you. but i personally really like the first one in the first category (the brown halter) and the third one in the second category. (the pink dress) they are so cute!
