I heard there are children with severe medical needs transplant and dialysis where israel is attacking and it will not cease fire. How can we deal with the sick? Is a hospital ship an option?
There was a disgussion that we are on Israels side because they are a democracy and the advisor said we do love other contries and not to be so quick to dismiss the needs of sick civilians and children.
They are all people. I cannot turn my back to a human in need just because they are occupied by terrorists. There is good and all in bad in alll people. Why must we be prejudice in the us?
What about humanity?

Really good points. If a country is hiding and harboring terrorists it might have to go through the "clear zone" to get sick people out. Perhaps they should have evacuated 1st. Then started attacking Israel. Perhaps people who harbor terrorists shoule think about keeping fragile people in such a dangerous situation or be ready for the consequences. I see the point. Please for give me all while I think and do not blindly accapt. You would not want me to blindly accept the killing of your people. Please allow me to think.

And to learn. Blind acceptance is wrong and can lead to many problems. I used to have unconditional acceptance for anything israel did because of the past offenses that had been commited against jews. I still love Israel, but not everything they do. Just as I love being and American but do not blindly accept everything we do. I know we are capable of acts that are not good. I happen to have been upset we do not follow geneva convention guidelines, un policy or red cross guidelines. I was taught in school that only congress can declare war yet many wars are not declared by congress.

How about a profound quote eloquently placed like on one of my other posts? One from Einstein o Gandhi? What about that? Does someone have something valuble to help me educate myself rather than to bash me? I am not here to learn hate, but rather to get perspective. What about a link. to news?

Israel doesn't support a cease fire because it will give HezBULLie the chance to rearm and reposition themselves.
All HezBULLie needs to do is to return the Israeli soldiers and turn in their weapons. Then Israel will cease fire.

Rules has to remember when one reads a Newspaper :
Rule 1: In the Middle-East, they are always Arabs who strikes first and it is always Israel which defends itself. That is called reprisals.
Rule 2 : Arabs, Palestinians or Lebanese don’t have the right to kill out civilians other camp. That is called terrorism.
Rule 3 : Israel has the right to kill Arabs civilians. That is called self-defence.
Rule 4 : When Israel kills too many civilians, the Western powers ask to restraint. That is called the reaction of the international community.
Rule 5 : The Palestinians and the Lebanese one don’t have the right to capture Israeli soldiers, even if their number is very limited and does not exceed three soldiers.
Rule 6 : The Israelis have the right to remove Palestinians as many as they wish it (approximately 10.000 prisoners at this days including nearly 300 children). There is no limit and they don’t need to bring any proof of the culpability of the removed people. It is just enough to say the magic word “terrorism”.
Rule 7 : When you say "Hezbollah", the expression always should be added "supported by Syria and Iran".
Rule 8 : When you say "Israel", one should especially not add afterwards: "supported by the United States and Europe", because one could believe that it acts of an unbalanced conflict.
Rule 9 : Never speak about "occupied Territories", neither of resolutions of UNO, neither of violations of the international law, nor of conventions of Geneva. That is likely to disturb the televiewer and the listener of CNN.
Rule 10 : The Israelis speak English better than Arabs. It is what explains that one gives them, like to their partisans, as often as possible the word. Thus, they can explain us the preceding rules (from 1 to 9). It is what is called journalistic neutrality.
Rule 11 : If you don’t agree with these rules or if you find that they support a part in the conflict against another, it is that you are a dangerous anti-semite.

Hezballah hit an Israeli hospital with their rockets. Where is their humanity? When will the undescriminant use of weapons without any concern for human life cease? You're asking the Israelis to cease military operations, what about Hezballah and Hamas?
We're not prejudiced, we're killing terrorists too.

Yeah, I've often wondered the same thing about the hezbollah rockets that are fired indiscriminately upon Israel and the Palestinian suicide bombers that explode themselves in buses packed with women and children.
There's a very simple solution here - dirty hezbollah return the Israeli soldiers and stop firing rockets on Israel and the Israeli army will stop kicking the living $hit out of you silly bastards.

Israel should not ceasefire. Why wouldn't Hezbollah release those innocent Israeli soldiers for the Humanitarian reason? Israel did NOT start a war, Hezbollah did! Israel MUST defend himself.

They won't cease fire because of humanitarian reasons. In this case, they are Israeli humans who are in danger everyday from Hezbollah. If they stop before Hezbollah is wiped out, Israelis will suffer worse than they were before. I guess the Lebanese people should have thought about the consequences of supporting and hiding Hezbollah before they did it.
