Why is a mercedes benz always mentioned in hip hop songs and cool music? whats so good about the mercedes benz that makes everyone crazy about it?

Its a status symbol to rap stars and famous people. They dont drive it for anything other than to be seen in it.
However, Benz and BMW are german made. When you test a car on a road that has no speed limit your gonna find things that break. The Autobahn is THE ULTIMATE proving ground....PERIOD! Thus these are the better of the automakers.
Famous people have no idea how well cars are made. The all self centered fags that care about nothing but how they look.

Go to a lot and sit in one some day. Close your eyes and take a deep breath, another one in through the nose out through the mouth. Are you smiling yet? Ask if you can hear it run, while he's gone to get the keys, play with all the gadgets. When he comes back start the car, and just when he starts his sales speech, put your finger to your mouth in a sh-h-h noise and crank the stereo UP. Are you there yet? Yeah sort of sucks after the Jaguar. I said," but honey they have them in red AND green and it IS Christmas!" That sales guy's eyes go $ signs. And then you let one off the hook, and pop the other ones dream. All you gotta say is I'm just not sure yet!

They're considered VERY COMMON Vehicles in Europe! They have Mercedes Buses, Utility Trucks, Mobile Porta-Potties, etc., over there... WE'RE the Ones that Makes a Big Deal about them here. I'm sure people don't go nuts in Germany for a Ford Focus! :)

Good question. Because I look at them too and they look really old-fashioned to me unless you see the inside, I guess...and the front grille. I guess the Benz was the first vehicle powered with an internal-combustion engine, though. I don't even know what
that means.

its not sooooo awesome. Some people want to be identified with it for symbolic reasons. You should test drive the best car you can afford to drive. and drive it. perhaps it will be Mercedes Benz perhaps not ...the driver ultimately decides what is or is not the "ultimate driving" machine. again drive the best car you can afford to drive. Safety first. Proven track record the most important decisive matters.

They attach a certain mystique to it because of the price. I had one I got new in 1984 for $29,000 and put 543,000 miles on it in 21 years before it died...

Um, they're not. They're just expensive and drivers own them to compensate for other areas they are lacking in, usually below the beltline ;)
