Yes...I'm black, and I speed. I usually cry my way out of it...but since I'm older, I haven't been pulled over so much...

well, the first time I got a speeding ticket. Then 10 years later, going down a different highway with my son on the way to the grocery store (he was 5 years old at the time) I was pulled over again for speeding and when the cop came and got my license and insurance to run it I tried to answer my sons questions about what was happening when he started crying just as the cop came back to my window and all either of us heard(the cop and I) was my son crying about us not being able to buy any food this time. I wanted to laugh, but the cop decided to give me a warning instead of a ticket! Just so you know I didn't put my son up to that and I bought him a toy at the store!

Quite a few times. Speeding (2x), Front Bumper (1x) and front licence plate (1x). Got a ticket for the first speeding violation (worked off thru a day of community service), and a warning for the second. I got a repair order for the front bumper of my car when I was leaving the library from a ******* state trooper! I swear, they are annoying! Anyway, since I was acting nervous like I usually do in situations like that, he searched my car and patted me down as if I had contraband or some **** like that. I also got a warning for the front license plate since it was in the window. He said it had to be attached to the front of the car. What gets me, though, is that I was pulled over for speeding by a county sheriff and was told that as long as the front plate's visible it's fine. Now I'm confused as hell! Never got nailed for a seatbelt though, even though I wear it on and off. I wasn't wearing it when that state trooper got me, and he didn't ticket me on it (suprisingly). Yeah, I haven't had good experiences with state troopers at all. They are a bunch of "Holier than Thou" types that can't follow the law worth ****.

The first time I was pulled over I had a friend passed out in the back seat. It was 2 am. I was speeding. They sent us home after giving me a ticket (For $25. I wasn't speeding that much) But they took my lisence and I had to pay the ticket in order to get it back. What bull.
The second time I was pulled over it was because I forgot to put my headlights on. She told me to turn them on, gave someone in my car a curfew ticket and we went on our merry way. Of course the person who got the ticket was not pleased.
The third time, I had a headlight out. I told the officer it had just gone out and I was on my way to 24 hour Walmart for a new one so I could drive home. heh. So he commanded me to wear my seat belt and I told him I usually do but since I had the car in park and was going to get out of the car to go buy a headlight, the seat belt was impractical.
The fourth time. I was not having a great day. My mother was sick (she is better now) and getting ready to go to the hospital. I was speeding a little, and got pulled over. ugh I started to cry and the officer said "There there." and said to keep my mind on my driving.

I got stopped and was given a ticket for no drivers license. That has been like 6 ytears ago. After the cop gave me the ticket, he let me drive back. He told me that he was going to follow me home but I never saw him.

Yes, when I was younger I had a "lead foot" which caused me to get a few speeding tickets. I also ran a stop sign once but it wasn't my fault...some lady behind me was impatient and kept honking her horn for me to get a move on. I explained it to the policeman and he let me go with a warning.
