I watched Hotel Rwanda, where the victims are being hacked to death. Elsewhere, humans torture, kill, maim, rape and destroy each other everyday. And that's just the stuff that we hear of in the papers & tv. Many more cases may have gone unheard, unreported. I am losing faith.

God doesn't exist, that is why everyone keeps asking questions. And yet they either don't receive legitimate answers or receive an answer that tells them they must believe in him and have "faith". To a religious person there is an answer for everything, despite how little sense it may make. They make up fake answers to all the questions they don't know, because they are fed fake lies their whole life and believe that anything can be explained by something that has never had any legitimate evidence and is supposed to be able to do ANYTHING. They are leaning on crutches that they are too afraid to cast away, because they wouldn't know how to walk without them.

Saying you believe in God is just as legitimate as believing in werewolves, unicorns, and so on. There is no proof for any of it, so there is no reason to shun others who follow "faith" based on exactly the same lack of reasoning.

If you were religious and I told you to jump off a bridge, but you would be caught by an invisible net and be saved from death - would you do it? Probably not - you would ask me questions such as, how do I know there is no net?
I would tell you that you must have "faith" that there is a net. If you told me that you have never seen an invisible net before I would laugh and say that is because it is invisible. You would ask how much weight the net can withstand and I would tell you it can hold any weight in the world. You ask me for proof and I tell you that if you don't jump and test it, that you have committed a sin and that you are not worthy. Am I at fault for having insulted you're intelligence by you trusting your senses and reasoning abilities? If you believe in religion, I am not, for you are basing your same beliefs of the same exact proof, which is none. Therefore, you are contradicting your own belief in "faith". "Faith" is nothing more then another reason for human beings to cover up their insecurities and is used as a reason for things we can't explain for those that are uncomfortable with that thought.

Our world is a world where we must trust our senses before we trust our fantasy.

If you want to learn more about atheism and how it can improve your life and help you become more human and down to earth let me know over AIM ("absolutekos"). It is too long to explain and upsets many who can't believe they've been lied to their whole lives.

Would you rather waste your life with the belief that if you pray to something that never answers, you might have a wonderful eternity in an afterlife that you have no idea exists OR would you rather enjoy your life as it is now - enjoy all the things nature has without repenting for "sins".

It is because Satan was VERY, VERY CAREFUL in HOW he challenged God. Instead of saying, well, lets see who's more this or that, which would have been over in no time, he chose ANOTHER WAY. And that was this: He chose to challenge God's RIGHT to rule.

By doing this, God had to show His rule was the only way that Man and the Angels could live forever in Peace and Happiness. But, first, there had to be a period where man, (and SATAN) ruled first. So, that is WHY Christ called Satan the ruler of this world. Because he is (for now). This is ALSO why Satan could OFFER the world to Christ as a temptation. How could it be his to offer and Christ NOT SAY THIS, if it really WASN'T? We know that he supposedly showed Christ all the glory of the world even to our time, to tempt Christ at his WEAKEST (after a 40 days fast). Christ, however, knew that ANY kingdom offered, even one of 2,000 years would still be TEMPORARY and would still end in God's return, so it would have all been wasted, no matter how much good he had done in those years.

So, Christ rejected Satan's offer of ruling the World for the last 2,000 years and instead died. Soon, he will return with HIS Eternal Kingdom to rule over the Earth for Eternity. Satan will be thrown into the pit for 1,000 years as shown in the Book of Revelation (Rev. 20) and when all Mankind returns to Perfection (EVERYONE DEAD RETURNED AND RAISED TO PERFECTION ALSO, INCLUDING THOSE HACKED TO DEATH IN RWANDA AND THOSE NO ONE BUT GOD REMEMBERS!) Then Satan will be let loose a short time to test those "God is ruler over."

So God's day of Rulership is coming. When Peace is over the land, and the lion and lamb will lie down together, with Christ Jesus as king.

God is only good to those who except His will as their own, those who choose not to will never see that. Those people are the corrupt and cannot or will not hear His voice. Bad things happen to good people but that is also His will. If you can truly accept that you will fear death less then you fear not seeing the ones you love....
I hardly know anything in the bible and rarely go to church but can see that I live a much more fulfilling life then those who put on that "mask", go every sunday and speak of God yet still do not accept His will, which is evident to everyone except those people. So don't fear the atrocities just spread the knowlage of His will.......and you WILL live the good life.

If u are losing faith then maybe you need to pray to God about this problem, because since this is going on then that tells you that the beginning of the end has begun. U can learn more about it if u read the book of Revelations. There, it will tell u how u wll be able to see signs that the eginning of the end has begun and that the rapture is near.

PLEASE READ THIS ONEman has freewill, if God took it away then he might as well ceases to exist because there would be no point, you wouldnt be you anymore, you'd be God because God is controlling you, so your existence is pointless because God himself already exists, Satan is defeating himself the more and more he plagues the world with sin, more people are getting to heaven there would be any other way,

Keep the faith, you wont if you blind however

amazing grace how sweet the sound..............i once was lost now im found, blind now i see

if you are not saved by the Grace of God as the bible says you will never understand. repent, and call upon the name of the lord and he will guide you

God exists dont let the world tell you otherwise because that is one of Satans attempts to tell you otherwise, dont be decieved becasue you will regret it

This is what I kind of believe.

I believe that God exist and God is good. He allows these things that is very horrible in the world to see if we do the right thing. He wants all humans to be able to make moral choices. If a dictator attacks his people, God wants to see people to overthrow that dictator and help the people. If God doesn't allow evil in the world, how can we show to God that we truly care for our neighbors.

God gave man the free will to do what he will. It is us screwing up, not him. Go listen to the below song.

----

"This is God" (Phil Vassar)

Hey, this is God
Can I please have your attention
There's a need for intervention
Man, I'm disappointed in what I'm seeing
Yeah, this is God
You fight each other in my name
Treat life like it's a foolish game
I'd say you've got the wrong idea

Oh, all I'm asking for is love
Well I've seen you hurt yourselves enough
Oh, I've been waiting on a change in you

Yeah, this is God
I've given everything to you
But look at what you do
to the world that I created
This is God
What's with this attitude and hate
You grow more ignorant with age
You had it made, now look at all you've wasted

Oh, all I'm asking for is love
Oh, I've seen you hurt yourselves enough
Oh, I've been waiting on a change in you, yeah

I know your every thought, your heart and soul and every move
There are so many consequences to the things you do

All I'm asking for is love
Haven't you hurt yourselves enough
Oh, I've been waiting on a change in you
A change in you, oh
This is God

Hello ..I m not even sure how i ended up on this page but i happened to b browsing yahoo and came across it...yer question caught me eye however...this is how i would answer that question....It is the common misperception...it is not God that 'allows' these things to happen...because it is not He who is performing the act or making humans do those terrible things...Humans are to blame....and to go a step further....it is the devil who makes Humans do evil things...the devil tempts everyone..its just those who choose to listen that are the problem....God cannot prevent this because one thing he gave us is Free Will....its humans who choose to act this way therefore ..its humans that are to blame for listening to the tempations of the devil....after all I am not sure where i read this exactly..but i do remember reading it...'the greatest trick the devil ever played...was convincing humans that he never existed'...when something goes wrong people say..'My God how could you allow this to happen' We blame God for tragedies..which is another trick from the devil that we as humans have fallen for!

If there is a God, He would be just that a God we would be like speck of dirt. Nothing for a God to worry about or have anything to do with us. But either way whether God is or isn't, that God would not be an earthly God A god would be in the world we don't know about so why would he know of us.
