People don't always know what they think of you for sure. They may find you annoying on Monday because they're having a bad day, then "interesting" on Tuesday when their outlook improves. On the flip side, if I really like a particular thing about someone, I usually won't tell them because it throws the relationship out of whack. So what you consider "lies" is really people giving each other some space and the benefit of the doubt. Is that so bad?

Good question! Wow, if I were to call up and tell every single one of my friends right now what I really think of them, then I probably wouldn't have any friends after that! But, now thinking on it, I would like to know what my friends think of ME. I don't really care and I'd shun whoever was totally mean to me. You should check out www.blunttruth.com if you and your friends haven't hear of it yet. I remember the first time I took it was off my cousin's AIM profile and I was totally honest. It said the test was totally anonymous, they just wanted to know what was the general thought of themselves (and I don't know why, but I believed it!) One of the questions was 1-10 rate how slutty she is and I rated her a 10.. 'cause it's true. I guess she checked my results (which I thought were anonymous) afterwards, but just laughed. Thank gawd. Okay, well have a nice day!

People are just interested in being polite and just trying to continue living without more problems or confrontations that tehy allready have, plus they are cowards and hipocrits, do not expect too much from human beings, most of them just think about themselves.

I hate when people lie to me. If you don't like me, you don't like me, but don't lie to my face. But I've always been a "walk to the beat of my own drummer" kind of girl, so I don't do stuff because of what people think, I've always done my own thing.

Because we are taught to be polite. We do not want to hurt other people's feelings. Besides, as Jack Nicholson says "you can't handle the truth."
