Mel Gibson was recently arrested for drunken driving. When pulled over, he said to the Sheriff, "F***ing Jews. The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." He then asked the Sheriff "Are you a Jew?"

What are your thoughts on this?

I guess Mel Gibson, like every other human being has done in their lives, decided to choose sin for his life that day. See how ugly sin can be in your life? See how many people jump on a story of a Christian man who will stumble and give in to his sinful nature?

Not a pretty sight is it? I wonder how livid everyone would be over this incident if this person was, say, Snoop-Doggy-Dog? But Christians are far more fun to mock and hit when they're in a sinful state, right?

The only difference between Mel Gibson, a Christian, and some person who denies Christ, is that Mel Gibson can repent of this sin, ask for forgiveness and be healed of it.

The Non-believer will have to pay the full consequences of eternal death for his sins.

I will pray that Mel will get back on the road he knows he must walk, and that his repentance and forgiveness have already been accomplished.

"It is finished."

Jews were hurting his career because he made that movie. I'm sure it happened a lot because the Jews run Hollywood. How we all let that happen, i don't know. That's just prejudice right there. Anyway, they were targeting Mel...and it was on Mel's mind. Thus, when drunk, he didn't have the sense to hold it back: he blurted it all out.

Don't blame Mel. Blame the Jews persecuting Mel for making a good Christian movie. The truth is people, Jews really hate Christianity..and do lash out. They are just smart enough to do it subtly. Mel was the victim. Believe it.

On a personal note, I lost repect for mel as an actor and a person a long time ago. Although I did find his film "The Passion of the Christ" an interesting film myself, and one of my fave films based on christian mythos (along with The Last Temptation of Christ) But I'm off topic.

However, I cant exactly get behind a boycott of his words. I personaly think they're the statements of a drunk jackass (assuming that is what he said, although we dont know) but I have never been one for trying to censors others speech, agree with it or not.

However, I would also support any Jewish persons right to decline to work with him based on his views. (again assuming the statements were in fact said)

I think he speaks the truth! I don't hate jews, but I do believe it's that fact they exist today that we have all these wars. I was surprised though. You know jews were first superior and god's favorites, until they disobeyed him. In the quran the holocaust and this war with israel and leb and palestine was predicted before hand all of this started. It's amazing to me. Now muslims are at their spot. That is why muslims "hate jews" We really don't we just dislike that they disobeyed god, and became snotty. I will say this- whom ever believes that killing jews is good is WRONG. God say to leave the job of punishing and giving grace to him. I;m really neutral on this topic.

If he had just been some guy from down the block getting drunk and making comments, would anyone really care? But because he's someone in the public eye everyone is making a big deal out of it.The story gets better and better too as you listen to the news reports. Now supposedly someone taped him.Next there will be a movie out about it.

I think it is time to stop being "the tough" guy and growup!!! This is reality buddy!! When does the acting ever turnoff? Unfortunately this is what sells and the people that like violence and his movies truly think it is great when he is violent. Mel Gibson has a family and he needs to start thinking of them first before he goes on his violent rampage!!

Hilarious. Of course wouldn't be funny if it was a regular person who said that. Not sure whether he disliked Jews before making the Passion or if making it just made him really think that the establishment (at least big jewish hollywood players) were after him.

Mel Gibson is a man that has a serious problem with alcohol for many years. He has released a statement that he apologizes to all for his actions that night, he was very gracious and sincere in his statement and he apologized to the Deputies for his actions, and thanked them for saving his life. He is seeking help for his problem. At least he is man enough to apologize and admit that he has a problem with drinking, he apologized to the Deputies, his family and the world.

To whoever said 'he was drunk'... He blew a .12. That is far from being so drunk you are belligerent. He had a nice buzz... and his comments were just those of a total ******. The 'he was so drunk he didn't know what he was saying argument' is beyond weak.

Also consider his movie "The Passion..." was considered anti-semitic by many, and his own father is a holocaust denier, referring to the holocaust as "mostly fiction."
