Honestly I don't think the former first lady will run.
But it would be a first and provide so many jokes for late night TV.

P.S. As a republican I too can not wait for this administration to end. In fact my vision is to have Bush impeached before then and lets start the tide turning. Enough is Enough for all Americans.

Are you taking political rhetoric seriously or are you cheering for your side? If you are making a political cheer for the last Dem to win the white house since Jimmy Carter's 4 year disaster;, fine. I voted for the other guy every time but I don't mind the other side cheering for their team. You can always hope your quarterback throws a touchdown pass, and if he wins, great.

But if you really think that dubya is so stupid, you've got another think coming. If you really think Bill Clinton would have let Saddam go on forever thumbing his nose at us, you've got another think coming. John Kerry even said he would have done the same thing in Iraq, even knowing what he knew. Now that 2006 is an election year, the party out of power is on a full court press to blame the party in power for everything that is going wrong. Are you going to take the political rhetoric so seriously?

I could never understand why Americans allow someone to be the "First Lady"

Surely this is an insult to every woman in America who, by definition, must be second best.

President Blair tried this in the UK but soon withdrew afetr ordinary blokes said their wife/girlfriend would always be the first lady.

As for the first gentleman, I suppose without the bother of runnig the country he would have lots more timeto instruct the interns at the White House.

Must be a nightmare for every parent whose daughter wants to enter politics.

Unfortunately, I don't think Hillary will win. I happen to think she would be a great president, but America is not ready for a woman president and so people would not vote for her just because she is a woman (even if they normally vote democrat). If she runs next election, the democrats will certainly loose and we will be stuck with someone like Jeb Bush.
I would love to see Hilary run, but not next election. Once we get a strong democrat in for a while to fix things and prove to every one how much better the liberals are, then she can run and will be much more likely to win.

Absolutely. Imagine a couple of people leading the country who both are intelligent, knowledgeable about world events and history, and who both speak standard English.

John Stewart and Stephen Colbert will have to find new lines of work.

no longer something good - he will act as a roving ambassador for the U. S. and clearly be used for coverage advice, and in keeping with possibility even lead particular projects - basically as Hillary did under bill's administration.

You really don't get it, do you?
From bad (Bush) to worse (Hillary)
Don't you guys think you should get serious about electing a leader? The world needs a real person in the White House.
The clock is ticking.
