I absolutely loved the movie. I have the Unfaithful poster framed and hanging over my bed. But I really disliked the ending. Not only did it leave you hanging, it left you confused and it was so unresolved. But I've still watched it about ten times.

I really liked that movie - my take on it is that, in the whole scope of life, which is the worst sin? - murder or adultry? - and, I think that in the end of this movie, they both just accepted that they are equal in both their sins, so to speak, and that they love each other still and are now stuck together with those bad secrets.

On the DVD is an alternate ending where RIchard Gere's character turns himself in.
