Actually, it is quite normal. To be honest, I wish that all young women and young men would decide that they didn't have to get emotionally attached and involved until at least the age of 18, that they would just date different people for the fun of it and to get a better feel for what they really want to "end up with." You're just a kid, enjoy it. Have fun with both guy and girl friends. People are living into the 90s to 100s these days. Enjoy the time you have to be single and a kid. I really wish I had taken more time for that. Divorce is too rampant in our society today and I've personally seen it destroy me and my family. I got lucky on the fourth go 'round. But, I was just like you, anxious about whether or not I was wierd because I didn't have a boyfriend yet. Personally, it wasn't worth the wasted anxiety. I finally ended up alone with three kids for 13 years, then at age 32 married someone who is my soul mate. I know you only asked about having a first boyfriend or a first kiss, but it all comes out in the wash. Don't set yourself up for failure or hurt in the years you have to live as an adult. BE A KID AND ENJOY IT! (Maybe even do it with me in mind, okay?) I'm rooting for you!

No, not really. If you are a smart young lady, you will worry about school and your education first. The boys and men will come later after you can stand on your own two feet in your own apartment and do not need the assistance of a gentleman.
I am proof that you need to follow your heart of what your education requirements before a man. It took 14 years for me to be able to go back to school. My now, ex-husband told me that I was to stupid to complete the nursing program. I am going to finish with my LPN degree on the 10th of Aug. Keep your chin up!

i will be 14 in 31 days, and i have never had a boyfriend because I am more attracted to older guys like in their late 20s and 30s so i am going to wait till i am that age to go out because then i will be more satisfied.

Not weird at all. Besides you don't need the distraction. Just enjoy your age and being with your friends and family. Once a boy is in the picture, all this changes. So enjoy.

No, not wierd at all. Take your time, find a decient boyfriend, they ain't going anywhere. Be selective because you deserve a good one. You've got all the time in the world to worry about a guy.

I was 17 before I had my first boyfriend and 18 before our first kiss.

I am married now, with two step sons, a loving husband, and a perfectly happy marriage!

It's not wierd, or strange. Don't rush it, let it happen when it happens, and just follow your heart, and stick with what you believe in!

No. I didn't have my first boyfriend until I was 16, and he wasn't even worth my time.

Nope. That is common, but many people will pretend that they have done things with their boyfriends even though they haven't!
