oh yes...i think the standard of jokes has come down and now stupid and practical jokes are considered as jokes....well as far as TVs are concerned....they are below standard......
When u don't enjoy jokes they automatically become dull for you .... i don't know what should be done for this because i am only SIX months old but something must be done!!!

Yep. Nowadays, most comedy (basically the comedy on tv shows and in movies... not necessarily stand-up comics, but there are exceptions) is a very watered-down version of the first hilarious idea that is was thirty or more years ago. Airplane! was a funny movie, but Scary Movie is not... I've never seen any of the Scary Movies, but they look completely stupid.
That's the reason why I hate comedies. I love Jay Leno, I love Whose Line is it Anyway, but I hate comedic movies/tv shows.

I think grammar is getting worse... and I'd say there's still some pretty good jokes out there like Did you hear about the gay midget?

It all depends on your point of view. My parents won't watch much Tv these days because they believe the humor is rude and crude. On the other hand, that is the kind of humor my teenager loves to see...

sit coms have been lame for years (30 or more) so it's not just "these days"... what is happening these days is that you can't see a kids movie that doesn't throw in what is erroneously called "adult material" but what would appropriately be called adolescent sexual or potty humor.
