In a recent question i asked if 16 paragraphs for a highschool class was normal. However i forgot to say that the average age in this class is below 16. I'm 18 so you might be wondering what i'm doing in the class. Well homeschooling is like that. I am behind one year though. However in homeschooling they tend to mix ages. What we are doing is more for 12th graders i think but we've got 13 year olds, 14, 15 16 in the class. I'm the oldest and feel very out of place. So my question is...do you think a 16 paragraph for 16 and under is way to much for them? For me it's ok but i'm the only 18 year old. It's messed up haw?

Well it is true that capacity mattrs but then as u said u find urself out of place there. so work as hard as u can to be the top student of ur clas nad also make sure to be alys at help to others with ur ideas so that they dont make u feel out of place.
beisdes capacity to learn and grasp vary from people to people and it also depends a lot on their maturity levels...........so where it works for some it fails to interests others!
what can u do ..........move on!

Wait--a 16-paragraph essay? That seems like a bit much...even for a research paper, in which length would be measured by the number of pages--not paragraphs.
What exactly are you asking/getting at? 16 paragraphs for what?!
Please specify.

Umm..no it is not way too much. See Homeschooling is a little different because it is not held within the same # of hours as regular schools so it needs to be in a more rigorous pace. So it is not bad. Plus when i was 17 i was in my freshman year at a Junior college so i had to write that much.
SO it is fair.
