My curiousity has always wondered if a person who is born deaf blind has the ability to experience dream? What would dreaming be like if you never have been able to see or hear anything around you. Is a dream a purely visual thing for us sighted ones?

Yes they do dream. There dreams are how they think the world is tho. How they think it looks and how they think it sounds. Or maybe they may just feel things in there dreams. I'm sure they are really abstrat. I wouldnt mind "watching" one.

I've read up on Helen Keller and she said she had dreams about color and movement. There wasn't actual objects, it was outlines of things she felt. I'm sorry I don't know what book I read it in, but that's what I know.

I would think so.

After all, they're in an unconscious state that doesn't require senses.
