shouldn't these countries be at the bottom if social programs don't work?

The health care part of the question is obvious. There are people in this country who can't afford health care and that shouldn't be. For a couple, in their 40s, with hospitalization, doctor and prescription co-pay, the cost is over 1000.00 per month. I don't know a lot of people who can afford that, do you? At least Canada provides health care for all of their citizens.

I have never heard a conservative complain about social/educations problems like the liberals do.

But conservatives do complain about social Security and with agood reason too.
