WELL, TELL HIM THAT YOU'RE FLATTERED AND ALL BUT YOU ONLY SEE HIM AS A FRIEND AND YOU DON'T WANT TO PURSUE ANYTHING FURTHER THAN THAT BECAUSE IT MIGHT NOT WORK OUT AND YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE A FRIEND.

Tell him there is nothing wrong with him but you just want to be friends. If he really is your friend he will understand. If you are in a relationship or recently broke up with someone you could use that as a reason.

Explore what the meaning of love is...see if he fits the bill....forget that passiojn stuff. If he;s someone whoi you think you moight enjoy sex with and have some romantic feelings for, then if you are really great feiends, the realtionship can only succeed.
If you have only friendship for him, explain that in simple terms.

Be very honest, in a kind manner. That is the best thing to do for him. Then DO NOT talk about his declaration to any of your or his friends.

I think that you should tell him that to maybe give it a shot you never know once you guys are going out you may start to have feelings for him and it could go somwere.

I would talk to him, one on one, & just tell him gently that you don't have feelings for him in that way. Or you could tell him that you don't want to risk losing your friendship, by going to the next level. Telling the truth is the best way.

well that happened to me too well first of all is the guy cute if yes then go out with him if not tell him you just want to be friends. well they guy that like me, we were friends and the n he told me that he wanted to go out with me but my friend lke him to and i told him that my friend liked him and that i don't want her to think that i want to take him way from her so then i told her that the guy ask me out and she got sooo upset and i told her that i said yes to him and she got even madder but it all worked out she got her self a new boyfriend so we were even now.
