Why isn't Bret Hart wrestling anymore?

Just wondering I know it may be old news but I can't find an answer

Bret died in a fall during a ring entrance stunt. Must have been ummm 2-3 years ago by now.

I pulled this from wikipedia and I know it to be true. He aslo talks about this on his DVD that was just released a short bit ago. Anywho, here it is:

Hart defended his WCW Championship against Goldberg. During the match Hart was struck with a mule kick to the head, resulting in a severe concussion. Hart later speculated that he may have suffered up to three additional concussions within matches over the course of that day along with the days immediately following StarrCade 1999, having been unaware of the severity of his injuries. As a part of this Goldberg placed Hart on the post in a figure 4 leg lock which ended with Hart hitting himself on the concrete with his head . The sum total of those injuries left Hart with post-concussion syndrome, and ultimately forced his retirement from professional wrestling.

Hart has stated that he did not hold a grudge against Goldberg for injuring him, attributing the situation to Goldberg's relative inexperience as a wrestler rather than irresponsibility, and the two remain on good terms. Nonetheless, Hart felt the nature of his retirement was ironic given that he had worked hard during his career to protect his opponents' well-being.

Bret Hart is superb, he may be labored out of the tournament or no longer compete a lot in the tournament, yet I even haven't any situation with that! R reality is truly a really sturdy competitor, he's a Former TNA international Champion, former US Champion, and is rather Athletic and unpredictable! the tremendous Khali is a Monster, he's not an striking wrestler, yet his length and ability provides him a huge benefit!

Bret Hart got Fired by Vince Macmanh cause his 20 year contract and he had a stroke.

WWE and Shawn Michaels drove him out of the business and at the hall of fame Bret said that he didnt want Shawn there and he was rushing his speech so obviously they still are not in each others good books though he was supposed to sign a contract with TNA but it seems that it never happened

Because he is now quite old not as old as Hogan or Flair but still quite old. He also suffered a stroke a few years ago and hasn't been in that good shape since. Plus the insurance company wouldn't pay out his insurance after the stroke so he took them to court and won, but one of his arguments saying the insurance company should pay out was that he could now no longer wrestle, so he couldn't start wrestling again or he'd get taken to court and sued for alot of money.

Bret is retired due to inuries sustained in his work, the last of which was a concussion that he allegedly recieved from a stiff kick by Bill Goldberg. He is reportedly living in France with his wife and their dogs

i don't think Vince ever gave him a contract...and he probably has to want to come back to wrestling ,, his family had had bad luck with his brother dying in Kansas City a few years ago and a brother in law that they said committed suicide..i think he's had enough and decided to quit
