No. They will not even beat there own mark for wins (70 in 2004) this year. They are 19 games behind the leaders the Wild Card Race. They were 19 games out of the Wild Card Race at this same time last year and ended up finishing 28 games behind the Wild Card winner. I think at season's end you will find them in the same place place they are now. The second worst record in the AL.

they are 20 games out of first place and going no where this year, but they are looking much better for the future. they have gotten some good draft picks in the last several years that are going to be in the bigs in the next few years, then they may contend, but with Boston and New York in their division, 3rd place may be their best possible finish. (it's all about the Benjamins $$$$)
