My cousin told me to get a washcloth and run it under hot water, let the water run for a few minutes to get it steaming and then hold it against your pimple for at least a minute or half a minute, keep doing this throughout the day. It costs no money and works! Just give it time. Usually if you keep doing it for about 5-10 minutes, like in a row, it will come to a head and (if you pop pimples) pop it and buy some kind of acne treatment gel. My cousin and I LOVE Marykay Acne Treatment Gel, if you put it on after you popped it or applied hot compresses it gets into your pores and the next morning you'll barely notice. Trust me this stuff works :)
Oh yeah ProActiv works GREAT! But that does cost some money.

I don't use any products on my face that are not organic or natural. I'm sure I'm older than you, so I used to use anti-wrinkle stuff, but the products I use now are appropriate for any age. You should ALWAYS cleanse, tone and then moisturize, no matter how tired you are. I use an organic cleanser with tea tree oil in it from Trader Joe's - that costs about $3.50. I then tone with a home made toner: it's organic red cider vinegar with a couple of aspirin ground up in it (aspirin contains salicylic acid, which fights acne). Sometimes I'll switch that up with just witch hazel as a toner. To moisturize, I use straight jojoba oil, or, if I'm out of that, either sweet almond oil or even olive oil.
I had acne for more than 30 years, and tried everything on the market. This routine cleared my face up in less than 3 weeks, and several people have commented that I look younger, and that my skin is glowing. The total I spend on my products? Less than $10 a month.

vinegar can also be very helpful. However, if you're pimples are like giant boulder type pimples, these are really called acne cysts, and there much more difficult to get rid of. I get these occasionally -- they're huge and very painful and the infection is such that they can't be popped. In that case, the dermatologist can easily and simply take care of it with a shot of cortisone into the cyst. It will feel better within minutes and will go away completely in a day or so.

The cheapest way (and most effective in the long term) is drinking LOTS of water. Make it a habit to down as much as you can. Drink water when you're hungry or thirsty and try to stay away from caffiene. A lot of skin problems are triggered when you are stressed, tired, dehydrated or consuming a lot of fats or sugars. Depending on the type of breakout you have (sudden or ongoing) you may need something as simple as a day to yourself, or something as drastic as a diet alteration. Also, if you're a girl, your cycle can mess with your skin quite a bit, especially in tandem with stress or dehydration. Good luck.

Dont pop them, they will spread to a different spot, just put toothpaste wherever u have them, let it dry and leave on there for 10 minutes, and then wash off, do that every night and it should get rid of them in a week, the toothpaste dries them up and makes them smaller and then they go away!!

make sure you wash your face every day before going to sleep first, and if that doesn't help-- this is so gross but it works-- you can use egg white, not the yolk. Put the egg white on your face where the pimples are and leave it for five to ten minutes then wash it off. good luck!

1) toothpaste. peasize drop on the pimple. dries it out
2) "Natures Cure" it's like 10 bucks. Works from the inside out, plus a gentle cream for your face.
3) Drink more water. you can add the juice from a lemon (real lemon, no sugar) for flavor.

Certain essential oils are also beneficial in the treatment of acne. These essential oils can be applied topically for the treatment of mild to moderate acne. The best essential oils for acne treatment are: Tea Tree Oil, Bergamot Oil, Clove Oil, Lavender Oil, and Rosewood Oil. If the essential oil needs to be diluted, mix it with Grapeseed Oil for best results.
