I find it hard to believe that they made a toaster oven in 1957. How do you know that is the year it was manufactured?

I use to work Sunbeam Customer Service for their contractor Convergys. I was asked that question several times a day. Sadly, that toaster you fondly remember your grandmother using is worth less then the time it takes you to carry it to the garbage.
