I need to know what kind of fish they are so I can do some research on them so I will know how to take care of them. The fish are about the size of a quarter. Their bodies are silver with a little bit of black, and they have big black fins. They remind me of angelfish, but I know that they are not angelfish. If anyone could help I would greatly appraciate it. Thanks!!

They sound like black skirted Tetras.
Get a book, they have the most accurate information.

probally 'black skirted tetras' ask the aquarium or vet what kind are they or reseash it

could be baby pacu if it is then you better have a big tank they get really big ...but its hard to tell without seeing it
