It was a great movie. Both Heath Ledger and Jake Gylenhall did great jobs at protraying that relationship. And Michelle Williams deserved an Oscar. She doesn't have a very big part, but the scenes she was in, she definately stole. It was great.

I haven't seen Brokeback Mountain yet, but I have heard it did open a lot of people's eyes to the gay/lesbian/bisexual issue and equal human rights on marriage and adoption and stuff. If you liked that movie then you should watch V for Vendetta, also very good and deals with issues that people should think about.

I have to say that that movies was the greatest!!!! It showed that no matter who you are and who you love can be difficult. I thought that it should have won more awards then it did. Those who thought it wasn't fantastic are homophobics and very narrow minded. I have yet to see a love story with such meaning and depth.

Sorry, I didn't like it at all...I think that if someone were to go out on a limb and make this movie about gay cowboys, then they should'nt have made them so damn angry....angry sex, angry about their lives, and just not very appealing people...I understand that this was how it was back in the 70's for gay people, but please, that's the beauty of movie making, you can change things around...this wasn't supposed to be non-fiction....

Hmmm Jamie - touch of homophobia?

Well I thought it was excellent - made me cry something shocking though...when ennis was holding jack's shirt in his bedroom...how distressing also seeing him being beaten.

I think im gonna cry again.....

"I wish I knew how to quit you..."; probably the most famous line in the movie...very interesting; felt sorry for them though; perhaps another time another place....liked the movie a lot!
