Carefully. I tweezed mine once, over thirty years ago & they never grew back. Thankfully I found some great eyebrow powder.
Thin Tip: Good for grasping small, fine hairs, and plucking ingrown hair.
Slanted Tip: Gives maximum control.
Square Tip: Best used for removing coarse hairs or several hairs at a time.
1. Tweeze immediately after showering or apply a hot washcloth to loosen hair follicles.
2.Hold a pencil vertically along the side of the nose. Eyebrow should start at outside edge if pencil.
Hint: Leaving a bit more space will widen close-set eyes.
3.Hold pencil to outside of eye. This is where the eyebrow should end.
4.Smooth brows with a little moisturizer to help hairs slide out.
5.Brush brows up to find a natural arch.
6. Draw in the desired shape beforehand with a soft eye shadow pencil.
Hint: Don't use an eyeliner pencil. It will cause you to pluck too much.
7.Tweeze under the brow first, plucking in the direction of the growth.
Hint: If your plucking becomes too painful, apply a little anbesol (yes, that pain reliever for teeth also numbs the brows)
8.Using an eyelash comb, comb brows upwards and trim any hairs that extend beyond the natural top or brow bone.
9.After tweezing, soothe the area with cool, wet tea bags.

With your natural brow as a guide, use an eyeliner pencil to draw the shape you want. Practicing with a pencil, you can decide on the length, shape and arch that frame your eyes best before removing a hair. Make sure you have the basic tools: tweezers, cuticle scissors, a clear mascara, a white eye pencil, an eyebrow pencil powder and a small brow brush. Use the clear mascara to brush brows upward. With the cuticle scissors, trim longer hairs above the upper brown line outside the desired shape. Then, apply white pencil to hairs below the brow that need to be removed. Tweeze hairs by pulling in the direction they grow- one hair at a time. Repeat on the other brow.
Use the eye pencil to fill in sparse areas in case you over pluck. Also, the most flattering shape for anyone's eyebrow, in case you're having a hard time finding yours, is that your arch start in the middle of your "eye" and eyebrow ends diagonally from where your eye ends. I hope this isn't confusing, but let me know if you need extra help/guidance.

YES! If you haven't plucked them before, I would go have them waxed first. Shaping them takes practice (at least it did for me) it is hard to get both of them the same shape and to make sure you don't pluck too much. But once it's done right, it opens your eyes and also helps your eye make up look better!

go get them waxed first at a salon...i think it's the best way to go.
once their waxed, and they start growing back, you'll know where to pluck them becasue the shape of your eyebrows is already done.
u don't want to do your own because you might make a mistake on your eyebrows and then it'll probably take a while for them to grow back...i wish i would've gotten them done at a salon...i'm waiting for mine to grow out now so i can get them done before i go back to school.
and if you do mess up on your eyebrows, get a eyebrow pencil and fill in the spaces that are missing.
hope it helps.

personally, waxing is the best way. it gives you clean removal of your hair, it is easier to shape them, & it is way less time consuming! if you do pluck your eyebrows, don't do it all the time. it can irritate your eyes. when you pluck, do so on an angle towards the side of your face or temples. this makes it hurt less. good luck!

Close to your skin pulling towards your ears. You pull 1 hair out at a time so that you don't make a mistake. Take your time and stop to look in the mirror often to see how they look. Afterwards I use aloe vera gel to soothe the area.

Get them professionally waxed first. Then, as they grow back in, you'll know how to pluck them.
