you don't do situps, you do keigels. you tighten the muscles like you are trying to stop from urinating, hold it for the count of 20, and release. you can do this anywhere, since nobody knows you are doing it.

kegals will, not situps. You know the muscle you can tighten to stop peeing? just tighten and losen and tighten about 30 times/day (in a row). This not only strengthens vaginal muscles, but it has also been shown in studies to improve bladder control!
