myself find it somewhat compelling. Good question. I was actually just talking about that today. We need some more "Harvard Homies" and not the crack smoking pot peddlers in our neighborhoods. Let's have the black on black crime die down and have peace as well. You can't demand respect if you're killing your own neighbors.

That is a great question. I know all of them don't do that, well, of course. Otherwise, it wouldn't be called a stereotype, it would be called a fact!
But when they do act like that, I don't understand why they would want to reinforce a stereotype. I guess they don't think that being a thug and a criminal makes their race look bad.

this question is very racicst. first of all.....i'm so tired to the "black on black violence" term.....lets not forget that there are more white serial killers/rapists/child molesters then there are black....in fact what do you think of when someone says serial killer....rapist.....molester? white people kill each other all the time with out anyone saying "lets end the white on white violence". america has always shed a negative light on african americans.....crack smoking? pot peddlers? there are just as many if not MORE white people that do those drugs......i know plenty of white people that smoke weed and sell drugs......and yet they aren't treated in a negative way.....

First of all its not BLACK--- We are African Americans. you're just seeing a couple of African Americans act like that i dont know if you seen it in a movie about African Americans being thugs of heard of it but thats not true we demand respect because of years being seen like worthless people if you were African American and you went to a all white neighborhood you'll get dirty looks just because you dress with style and not with tight fitting clothing or loose for women. and your looking at the male aspect of this because African American women dont act like that they may act aggressive but thats because they've been through things.

Why do whites like to act like they arent racist, but if an african american dude is walking down the street towards them, they worry about their safety, and wallet? C'mon! We all know that there are reasons why stereotypes arise, and we know that there is something stereotypical about each and every one of us no matter what color our skin is.
