first of all, you are lucky to be male. they generally don't do this procedure on women. My mother has had to stay in hospital for 3 weeks, because they gave her strong meds to dissolve the stones she had while downstairs there sat an unused ultra wave tank that would have cured her in only hours. they sedate you so you don't move from the position they put you in . if you moved, the stones wouldn't get zapped.

I've had one at 7mm but it passed on it's own ( I know it's rare), but I've never had to have surgery. Sorry I wish I could have helped more. I was reading about something called Uriflow the other day, it is supposed to break up the kidney stone, prevent more from forming, and help repair the urinary tract. How great this product works, I don't know, but I think I'll look into it next time I have one.

first of all, do not get scared. secondly, name for a moment opinion. if the stones have not handed but and the document stated it might handiest be a couple of days, you will have to get them checked out once more. DONT GET SCARED. mostly they must pass in and eliminate them if they do not cross. however its so much greater than laying in suffering for one other week, correct? If you'll be able to name one other document, name. If you desire to make one other appt with the equal dude, do it. Go to WebMD or some thing and seem it up, It's painfull, I realize, by no means occurred to me instantly however I've obvious them from humans. Deep breaths, K? It's no giant deal, drink plenty of water. Are you taking whatever for the affliction? If anything the health care professional gave you does not have painkillers in it, check out taking motrin, mostly it really works greater than tylenol, BUT ASK FIRST!!, in case your no longer definite you'll be able to name the pharmecy and ask them if you'll be able to take any painkillers with what the document gave you. Too so much can harm your liver, thats why I'm telling you.

I had kidney stones a couple years ago, mine dissolved by themselves. It was the worst pain I had ever felt worse then when I went into labor with my daughter. It was horrible. I feel for you.
