I haven't seen Scoop yet. I probably will tomorrow. As far as his best film, there are many good choices: The Purple Rose of Cairo, Stardust Memories, Crimes and Misdemeanors, and Annie Hall come to mind. It's a shame that Woody's movies don't get wider releases, because most of them are far better than most of what gets dumped on theaters. And most of them are pretty accessible too.

"Zelig" was an absolute delight! From start to finish. And I don't think it was because I was sitting next to a girl I adored during the movie.

there's a lot of brilliance there but sleeper from his early period, Annie Hall and Broadway Danny Rose from his middle period and Manhattan Murder Mystery from his latest period.
