yes, its all fluff!!! Really, you would have to have a short attention span to soak it all in. Do not watch TV!! Instead, read a book. You will have an edge over those who rely on the boob tube.

RV has been doing down hill for an entire decade. If it isn't the constant gay references we have to deal with and our children ahve to be subjected to, it's the rediculously lame reality shows. I think all reality shows should go off the air. Not to mention the incessant swaring on TV now. NO wonder out children are getting mixed messagees about what is deemed appropirate and inappropriate. There should be more family programming on TV, and not so much crap. This is why I watch Nick At Nite and TV Land, because at least those shows have some substance, and not just a loto of fluff. And talk shows now, come one! Shows like Jerry Springer shouldn't even be on network television. If you want to see something like that, put it on cable with the other garbage where it belongs.

Yes, the reality shows are taking away time slots from new shows.
The more reality, the less new shows. This is sad.
I am also not a fan of the shows that are serial in nature. I like shows that have a beginning, middle and end in one hour. Nowadays, the shows are all serial. You have to watch every week or you are lost.
This is why I stopped watching them live and I just wait for them to come out on DVD.

Reality shows rule over all others...
A good show that is non-reality would be "8 Simple Rules For Dating My Teenage Daughter".. which is what John Riter last worked on before he passed. It is a brilliant show, with a briliant cast.

I agree the reality shows are taking over, but the faze will die down as it becomes old and the comedys and dramas will be back in full swing before long. :)

yes, and alot of the show are getting into the characters being gay or doing drugs, or other stuff. There isn't really anything that you can watch as a family anymore...everything is either too childish or adultish

I'm tired of all of these "unreality" shows. I watch tv to escape, not to watch other people's problems. Give me a good drama that isn't set in either a hospital or a police station/courtroom. Give me a sitcom that has characters I can LIKE.
GIVE ME BACK MY FIREFLY! GIVE ME BACK MY CUPID! GIVE ME BACK MY BRISCO COUNTY, JR!
Um, that would be a Yes.
