How is that really any different from carpet? There isn't much padding, and it is just concrete underneath. Just watch her. What are you going to do, pad the entire house?

She should be fine. I also had wood flooring in many rooms, and two kids. they slip occasionally but they always recover. My best advice for you is don't put socks on her when shes on the floor. When she starts to pull up and stand thay can cause her to slip, which then causes serious accidents with tables and hard surfaces. Good Luck

Dont worry about it.Let her learn the way all babies do.Kids are tough little critters and the floors wont hurt her.If they do she will learn to walk and not crawl on them.Dont worry if she doesnt crawl,my son never did.Went from scooting to walking.

She will be fine. We have had hardwood floors when most of my kids crawled (I have a 5 month old who will be doing the same soon).

She will hit her head some, but she will be ok. :)

i just would not polish it so that its extra slippery to often. other than that the baby should be fine. Might actually help beacuse once he/she starts to army crawl he/she might go further and slide a little. i would be more concerned with walking and slipping.

Put her on a big comforter. Otherwise, if you have all wood floor, youre gonna hafta chance it. But, you shouldnt have too much of a problem.

Do you know what caveman babies played on? The hard earth. They survived. Is your baby dumber than a caveman baby?
