Ok, I had a dream last night, that kind of made me uneasy. I was wondering what you guys think it means.

Ok, first I'm in a big auditorium, full of people, and I can't decide where to sit. Then, I see some former friends that basically disowned me, and there calling my name and telling me to sit by them. I'm kind of flattered because they don't even talk to me anymore, even though we're in the same classes. Then one of my friends says, "we're bored", and for reason its my cue to punch the person next to me in the face. My "friends" start laughing, but the usher comes and tells me to sit in the last seat in the very last row. Then all of a sudden I riding on my bike full speed running away from a LARGE group of people. In summary, I find out that everyone in the world wants to kill me, even my mom. It just kind of scared me....

Let me analyze your dream

Auditorium = big place or social group
can't decide where to sit = can't fit in
ex-friends = want to be acceptance
punch a person = peer pressure
ride a bike full speed running away = low self esteem.

Basically, this dream is about your social life. You may be socially deficient or you are just shy when you are facing large group of people. You want to it in everywhere you can, but you can't because you are a person who has a low self esteem. Whatever you do, you don't feel respected. You have lots of peer pressure. Somehow, you don't think you can be accepted in many ways. It may not be the case at all in real life; however, deep down subconsciously you want more friends and more respect. That is you projected the dream

I could be wrong, but this is how I see from your dream

p.s. pay no attention to those who says dreams don't mean anything. They do mean something most of times. There are exceptions of course. In your dream, it does mean something!

I kind of agree with the first answer: Dreams don't mean anything. Honestly if you think about it, your brain is indeed YOUR brain. If when you're filled with alpha waves (aka awake) and you can't predict the future or see some code-like phenomenons, when you sleep you're not going to start seeing those things. Dreams are indeed just brain activity. Research has shown that REM sleep (the only stage in which we dream), facilitates in storing short-term memories into long-term memory. That's why if you read something an hour before you sleep, you'll remember it a lot better than reading it at the beginning of the day (With no rehearsal and things). Technically dreams are just bits of information snatched up to the cerebral cortex from the hippocampus. How does this make us dream? We dream because those bits of information flash by our occipital lobes. Therefore your dream means nothing and are just your brain's normal activity.

I think the beginning part means that your listening to people you shouldn't be bothering with. So you have so called "friends" that are not really your friends.

You should not put up with what your friends are doing hence the punching symbolizism. Them saying 'we're bored' and laughing at you shows you that they are not your friends.

The usher is singling you out which could mean that you are going to be by yourself.

The end, with the bike might mean that if you continue doing what your doing (listening to fake friends) that you are going to become a person no one likes.

Wow! I can see why this dream shook you up! Remember that dreams exaggerate everything to make us pay attention to them. Scary dreams really want us to pay attention. I think this dream is about you finding your place amongst your peers. You may be flattered to be with this one group, but do you really belong with them? Why did you give into peer pressure and hit someone? Why does the usher send you to "the back of the class"? I think you are running away from these decisions and from these consequences that cause everyone to not like you. I think the dream is telling you to be yourself. Good luck!

"so much for forgiveness, now a violent soul teaches humility" When one of your friends said "we're bored" she was actually asking for your forgiveness. If you'd made up with them you would have been renewed and they would have learnt their lessons if they were at fault; but you rather shew that they weren't the ones to be blamed for the face-off by punching someone whom asked for reconciliation! Humility is not a virtue you have.

Sounds like you are feeling guilty about how you have been dealing with people like the former friend and punching someone. The punching is you are angry about something.

Dreams don't mean anything; it's your brain's way of "rewinding" while you sleep.
