Some kind of pan to cook in. Hopefully you'll find all the food you need and since most things taste strange raw a good rust proof cooking pan would be great, and you would use the sand to clean it.

First of all the island would have to have electricity. I would want on the island a computer, so I could order anything I needed via internet and have in flown in to me.

Hmmm...I guess if I have to choose, I'd go with the lighter. The only thing worse than not having cigarettes is having cigarettes and no lighter!

i would have to say a gigantic box of waterproof matches. fire is kinda essential - warmth, cooking, boiling contaminated water, clearing area for building, and light. you could make fire with rocks or 2 sticks, but that is pretty difficult & pretty labor intensive. matches would make life a whole lot easier.
