Did you breastfeed more this month than you had been? The more you breastfeed the more likely you are to suspend your periods, and periods may not return to a normal cycle until you have completely weaned your baby. From what I've researched, if your son has not been nursing more, than it is odd that you were having them and then didn't. Have they been regular cycles that you've already had, or did you just have the one before this missed one? It takes a long time for everything in your body to go back to status quo, or rather, it's new version of this since everything in your body changes (much of it permanent) during pregnancy. If the other cycles were irregular, than I wouldn't worry about it, if you've had a regular one the last couple months, call your Dr., it's what he's there for!

You said "I have had my cycle since I had her." Does that mean you had only had one cycle before this "missed" period? It's very normal for cycle lengths to vary and not be regular while nursing. Baby may nurse MORE one cycle so you'll go longer between times. Baby may nurse LESS another cycle and then you'll have a shorter cycle.

Get to the dr. It could be normal, but you could also be pregnant and the test may not be reading the hormone yet.

Yes, it happens, although it isn't very common. Some women have one period, then don't have another one for months.

Well, I never had that pleasure, but my sister didn't have a period as long as she breastfed. You are lucky women!
