If you are sharing sex toys you should probably use a condom to prevent the spread of disease or infection. If you are in a mutually monogamous relationship and have both been tested for STDs then it's probably OK to not use them unless you use the sex toy for both anal and vaginal sex. In all cases, wash the toy with soap and water (don't get the batteries wet).

Accepting for the sake of argument that I would do such a thing in the first place, I'd wash that thing AND use a condom. I mean, ewwww.

I'd buy my own...but if you feel the need to use someone else's sex toy, clean it THOROUGHLY and then put 2 condoms on it....better safe than sorry...

I'd WASH it with soap & water, then use Alcohol on it! A condom might be a better choice...that way you won't have to wash it TWICE (before & after)!!!
