Yes, great movie. But the violence was truly pointless and heartbreaking. And you had to be crushed near the end, after all that time... I cried. A lot.

Oh yes! I loved that movie. The acting was superb, and the plot realistic, but I hated the end of the thing. Why can't there ever be a happy ending sometimes to those kinds of movies?

I read the book in the summer of 2003, before I even knew they were making a movie, and the book made me cry, especially the end. Have you read the book? You should! Funny thing is, I STILL haven't watched the movie!

Loved it. Jude Law, Rene Zellweger and Nicole Kidman were all great.

If you like to read, try reading the book on which it was based.

The book and movie are very similar.

You can get bogged down in descriptions of geography, weather, etc. in the book but it is still a good read.

I liked it very much, but I had a hard time believing that a man would walk away from Natalie Portman just to go back to Nicole Kidman. Now *that's* a good actor.

I loved it, I wasn't sure that I would because I thought that he would eventually be unfaithful to her. He never was, he just kept walking!! It is one of my all-time favorite movies.
