when you think about it, a broken heart will not kill you. a severed heart might, but what is the worse thing that can happen from a broken heart??? you cry, and that is it, well, if you are normal. and then you can start again.

look
like
crush
kiss
love
promise
lose
reunite
separate
live
look..........

endless cycle. and that is free of charge.

Yes, but without love what do you have? Your heart and soul closes up. You're no longer open to enjoy life because you're either bitter or holding back emotions...both unhealthy. I've love and lost a few times in my life. The most recent was my failed marriage. I was with him 15 yrs. Love him with my whole heart. Gave him all of me. And in turn not only lost myself, but had to deal with his verbal abuse, lying and cheating and the final humiliation...he left me for someone else. But I sit here 4yrs later happier than I have ever been. And I have a now strength of self and knowledge that if and when I meet and fall in love again I won't loose myself. That I'll be able to give my heart once again and next time know when the person is giving back.
Without going through pain and loss in life, we can never appreciate how good life can be when it's truly good. Ying and Yang. Yes it hurts now, but on the other side it's so, so sweet. Have faith in yourself.

Good one. The heartache is the worst. I'm still having a heartache. I won't see the person I like for a long time, and it hurts. Love hurts.

Who ever said love don't cost a thing needs to show me an enlightened, ambitious, successful man who would be willing to take on a "tore-up" woman who doesn't spend money on beautification rituals and other aesthetic practises to ensure she can compete in this crazy "rat race" that is taking place. He would have to be in most cases either blind or in need of a "marrige of convenience". The obsession that this world now has with physical beauty ensures that love really don't cost a thing; IT COSTS EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! Compared to that heartache is cheap.

hmmmm....I've heard it said..its better to have love and lost then not to have loved at all... but remember all the rewards we had gotten during that love(not just the cost)...if we have lost love, with faith we heal,we grow from it and if we don't close our hearts up I hear love finds us again....how high of a price are you willing to pay for love;a heartache can mend if we let it.Think about it,if we didn't have the heartache maybe it wasn't love at all.Yes at times the heartache seems a high price to pay but the rewards of loving seem to even it all out....

My soul is the most valuable thing I own. I'm not willing to give up any part of that for some "heartache - inducing chump" who is not willing to meet me half way and "share the cost".

love don't cost a thing??
that is one of the biggest lies that humans tell themselves to escape the fear of love.
heartache is one of the highest prices u have to pay in the name of love.
but the truth is we don't have a choice. we have to love. if we don't love then we are no longer human.

I don't mean to scare anyone though! the price of love seems very small when compared with the many gifts of love.

like they say "it's better to have loved and lost than not to have loved at all."

it is a huge price to pay but i mean thats the risk you take
love dont cost a thing meaning youdont have to pay for someone to love you because love is real and true
but...
i guess you do pay a huge price for getting your heartbroken
but after you pay for those heart breaks you finally find the right one.

love, whether your heart is ecstatic or broken does come with a price. whether that price is having a broken heart or that cost is sacrificing other things. as far as having a broken heart goes, if somebody broke it, then you are better off not being with them. somebody who breaks another's heart doesnt want to be with that person. it's time to move on to greener pastures.
Good Luck!
