I have passed my 12th standard and want to join a good college in bangalore. I want to do commerce. What about Brindavan College , does anyone know about it.
http://www.brindavancollege.com/home/default.asp

Or is there any other good college. What is the total fees for a commerce degree in bangalore. I am a student and want to know a rough figure about the cost of living per month for me which encludes sharing accomodation with 3 meals. And if there are messes which charge on monthly basis, can you give me arough figure . Thanks in advance.

Never heard of this college. Though I tried to find out about this college through the site, I really do not think this as one of the great colleges in Bangalore.

Some of the very good colleges in Bangalore for Commerce studies would include : MES College, Vijaya College, APS college, Christ College, ST. Joseph's college etc.,

These colleges are pretty strict and your admission would depend upon your marks in the 12th standard.

Fee differs from college to college - and some of them may not be costly. Compared to college fee etc., yoru stay and food charges are going to be expensive in Bangalore.

Happy studying.

Brindavan is a definite no-no unless ur marks r pathetic
Al-ameen is ok but isnt in the top colleges
The most sought aftr r St. Joseph's, MES, Christ -- all these have very good placement record
For girls, Mount Carmel's & Jyoti Nivas
Mahaveer Jain collge is ur nxt best bet if u dont get ny of the above-its good too
Rent in an area such as Indiranagar or Ulsoor: 1 of my frnds is sharing a house with 2 others for 1800 each (inclusive of water, electricity, furniture)per month excluding food.
Food in darshinis or sagars(stand & eat):a good meal wud be abt 30 rs per person

Try with some reputed institutions instead of commercial institutes who go around in the market propogating about themselves and promise to deliver more than what they actually can.
