I don't know where you are , but my husband is disabled and i am sick also, so we had to move in the housing authority(government apartments) and there are some Katrina victims living here. They have to place them in an apartment before anyone else. Of course that is only a temporary answer. I don't know if you want a house i would contact the nearest H.U.D. office. Congratulations on your twins too.

dont listen to ignorant people like sway...u could try habitat for humanity...they always have those commercials on so maybe they can help....it really depends on where u are. I'm in texas and we found a real nice agent that found us a house. Also if ur on any government programs u could ask people that word with you, congrats on ur babies and good luck with everything :)

Go to www.firstgov.gov which is the Fed's web portal. They have links to every government program out there in every state.
