**Hey, I live in the US, and I met Diana when me and my mom went to England to visit her family about 10 years ago! We met Diana for lunch in Windsor, and I cant really remember what all she said because it was so long ago, but I do remember her being really nice, and telling me that when she brings her boys to the US they will stop by and visit us! Though she died about six months later, and i never met her again. My mom went to the funeral but i couldnt because i was in school at the time and it was sudden. I think the princes are really cute too, even though they were my fifth cousins! ;-0! Diana knew who I was, because my mom and her grew up together and her and will had seen me as a baby. He is about a year older than me, and my mom said that when we were really young prolly not even a year, we met. I dont remember, so I say I never met him. My mom is over there now to stay and visit with family, she stayed with Charles, Dianas brother, for two nights, and she said she met Will and Harry at a polo match, but only for a few minutes. She is they are better looking in person and BOTH resembled Diana! Dianas brother said they were tangled up with girlfriends, and that Wills will most likely marry Kate, because she is sweet and down to earth. BUT they dont like 'the blonde girl' because she is a 'chav?'! (no clue if thats the right word) And they think that she only wants a title. Good thing, bc i think Harry is hot!

You have to travel. You also have to have some writing talent.
The key to travelogues is in "bringing" the audience to the place by description. Be descriptive, but not overly so. Use all of the senses in your description.
I'd recommend reading a travel magazine and analyzing the writing. Try Arizona Highways. Good stuff.
Then comes the hard part: getting your stuff published. Start with small, local magazines. Do a few for free or in trade for copies of the issue, just to get the tear sheets. Once you have a foothold, try the bigger fish and see if you can get an agent.
Good luck!

First, ensure that your writing skills are up to speed. If you are still in school and not taking a journalism program, write some articles that you can get published in the school or local newspapers. Second, do some travelling and write about what you saw, did and who you met. Submit these to local papers. Keep plugging and eventually you will make a living from it. You will probably need some other job for a while to support you until the journalism kicks in.

If you do not have a journalism degree, you need one. Look for internships in the industry.
