It means he isn't prepared to say that he loves you in return. The exact same thing happened with me. I told my boyfriend that I loved him and he just squeezed me tight. To be honest, it didn't hurt my feelings because I knew he cared. And the last thing I wanted was him to say it back to me and not really mean it. A few months later, he told me he loved me and I knew he was sincere.
So please don't stress. At least you know that when your boyfriend does say it, it will be for real. :)

maybe it is to soon for him, give him a break. he may have been in a few bad break ups and doesn't want to put his heart on the line again. just tell him that you love him and that he can tell you when he is ready. and leave it at that. don't let this change things. he may love you but just doesn't know how to say it with out sounding to mushy. give him time he will come around if thing are meant to work out they will. don't sweet the small stuff .

I know a lot of guys that think saying those three words mean a lot- as in, I'm going to marry you..
One of my guy friends told me he still hasn't told his girlfriend (they've been seriously dating for nearly three years) that he loves her. They are practically married!
So maybe your bf still isnt ready to say it
I would back off a bit and make him work a bit harder for your love.

If he introduces you as his girlfriend, then he evidentally has feelings for you and he is telling you that you are very special. Sometimes, men don't think. They just assume that you KNOW that they love you.
Talk to him. Verbally tell him how you feel. See what happens. I don't think you will be disappointed from what you have mentioned.

What do YOU think?? He is NOT there, clearly. Would you like for him to tell you he doesn't love you too? Let me tell you for him..He doesn't love you too. If you LIKE being his girlfriend, chill. Be his girlfriend . STOP pushing. ENJOY.. Just enjoy, when he feels like he loves you, if those feelings ever come for him, he will let you know at that time. But you will not force the words "I love you" out of him, honestly. Think about that. Would you even want that? I don't think so.. Men are hunters, let him chase you sweetie.

He may love you but the way guys are it's realy tough to tell. If he tells you you're special he doesn't love you as much as you hope he does. I'd suggest moving on.

Your guy may not be ready to say this back to you yet. Some men are afraid to, some aren't, but you just have to give him time to say it. When he's ready he will tell you that he loves you, they just have to make sure that they mean it.

Age does not matter. It is easy for us girls to say it but some guys have a hard time expressing their feelings. as long as he treats you well and respects you then dont worry yet.

He is scared of something that prevents him from saying he loves you. The relationship is not concrete yet.
