Well, first, when I was in high school, I didn't like the popular people. I could have been popular, but chose not to be because I thought there were all a bunch of pompous twits who saw no value in education. So, I hung around different groups. I had my jock friends because I enjoyed running. I had my party friends because I enjoyed having fun. I had my nerd friends, because I enjoyed learning. I was a sea explorer as well (scouts) and thought the ocean was the coolest place (I lived on the coast). I believe most well rounded people did not hang around one group of people, but had several groups of which they enjoyed to be a part.
Later in my life, I became a teacher. I have also been talent at a radio station and worked writing ads for a television station, and I was a social director on a cruiseline. The reason, I became a teacher for high school and college, was two fold. First, I thought there were way too many teachers who didn't teach because they enjoyed the students, but rather, they did it just as a paycheck. This is sad because enjoying students and watching them learn is important. Secondly, I really do like my summers and weekends and holidays off with my own children. It's a great job if you are very family oriented.
Who do I (scratch hate) feel sorry for in high school? People who think they know everything and refuse to learn, especially the adults.

I hated high school. I went to a very small public school (only 45 people in my graduating class). If you sneezed funny, the WHOLE school knew about it. I had a few really good friends in school, most of my friends went to other schools and lived in other towns; but I hated that everyone else was so judgmental and closed minded. My 10 year class reunion is coming up, and I have no desire to go. Those people never took the time to get to know me then (and mind you, I went to school with everyone in my class from kindergarten until graduation), why should I give a **** now! Nope, not bitter at all. Life is what you make of it, and I am doing fairly well for myself, the lessons I learned in school I could not have learned anywhere else.

I don't recall hating anyone in high school, although I'm sure there were people I didn't care for...I've always been too open minded to hate or dislike any group...people are individuals and I judge them that way...to do so otherwise is unfair and often short changing not only some of them, but ourselves as well...
Hate is an ugly emotion...it will age you and contribute to you being an unpleasant person to be around...I hope you find a way to get over your hate...and see people for who they really are, not the stereotypes you or others have given them...

nicely, all extreme faculties are like that, no count the rustic or continent. this is a few thing anybody is going with the aid of. I extraordinarily knew i exchange into plenty extra mature and pitied the immature brats. I had the final chortle cos' I have been given extra effectual grades, went to college, and have a happy existence now, with some thing to do, and a great boyfriend. So stop hating, and commence pitying instead. in case you dislike them plenty, do no longer draw close out with them. do exactly your individual element - 8 extra months and bam, you're outta there, and faculty is plenty relaxing, and persons are not as shallow and pratty like they're in HS. as much as you hate HS now, in years to come, you will understand they have been lots of the least perplexing years of your existence. So stop hating - cos as nicely to being a sturdy feeling to pity instead, it will additionally assist you ego.

I hated the people who acted like they were better than everybody else and treated people like crap. I did not enjoy high school at all until my senior year.

My biology teacher, Mr. Mack. I wanted to choke that man. And, girls who were so stuck-up that they kept getting nose bleeds. I hate girls like that. But, I graduated a year early, thank goodness, I didn't have to worry with them anymore.
