How do I put MP3s on my Motorola L6?

I got this "Handset Manager" program on my computer but I can't seem to get the modem to work, do you need internet access to be able to put the MP3s on there? When I try to use the browser on my phone, it does not connect.. My provider is T-Mobile, if that helps.

I'm so confused, please help! =(
