Outside of a big fat diamond anything....there is always the little things that pull at the heartstrings....for instance....leave little post it notes with words that invoke sentimentality or love on the bathroom mirror, in the fridge, places that you know she will see it, but not expect it. Just one a day, or one every few days. That way it is not overkill, but soon she will look forward to finding them. When she reads them, she will smile, or laugh...but for sure, in that moment, she will know that you were thinking of her and her heart will fill. Try it....

Write her a love letter that tells her why you love her, and why she's sweet. tell her all of the things that she does to make you smile. Then when she is felling melancholy again she can take out your letter and fell your love through your words.

beside the diamond rings there are several other options to count on.
To make your baby cheerful and happy, do the unexpected thing but in positve stance. I think on any special occasion only a deep kiss would work well...

Make a date, take her out to dinner, do something afterwards that she likes to do. Listen to a romantic song together and make it "your song". Buy her flowers, shower her with attention, let her know how important she is to you. Buy her a gift of clothing that she would most likely use alot. TELL HER YOU LOVE ONLY HER.
