The whole 80's emergence in fashion and leggings being back, but worn under fitted jersey dresses, denim mini skirts, etc. makes many retailers bringing back the stirr-ups as a viable option for consumers. HOWEVER, be alarmed that these do not look good on everyone - hence your example - and cannot be reused for work-out gear or anything else past the end of this trend. Unless you buy a pretty reasonably-priced pair, I wouldn't do it. That trend will be gone sooner than you realize it.

EWWW!!!!!!!!!!! the thought of going through my mom's clothes even to this day reminds me of the many horrible fashion trends that existed when i was a kid. unfortunately, horrid entertainment has came back. just as long as you're not hitting those type of pants at the gym, or, god forbid walk amongst people in the mall. you would be made fun of for a whole day. it is just better to leave that look at home.

Stirrup pants, no; leggings, yes (much to my dismay) but please only wear them under skirts or long tops.
