I understand his fetish.
Being perfectly honest, my fetish is to watch two beautiful females making love. I believe two women making love are actually performing beautiful art.

He probably has some biological reasons for being prone to gender identification disorder. Then you and your sister put the pieces before him that helped him make the final step. It's like an alcoholic isn't born an alcoholic... he needs to drink enough alcohol to become what he was already predisposed to do. Chances are that if you and your sister didn't do it, he could have discovered his propensity for gender crossing elsewhere.

Honestly: I would answer with a "maybe, maybe not". If he weren't going to be trans, you MIGHT have given him some gender issues to work out. But, then, that happens to a LOT of young children. Seriously. And trust me, they don't all end up transitioning. So at very least, there's other factors at play. The other possibility is that she doesn't remember it, consciously or otherwise, and it had zero effect.

You didn't do anything to him and you have nothing to feel guilty about. A transsexual knows (or suspects) their true gender as early as age three. Your "brother" let you dress him up as a girl because she was probably already feeling that she was a girl. I can't imagine any non-trans child putting up with being dressed as the opposite gender.

Maybe a little bit....
Supposedly there are biological reasons for people to be transexuals, so you had nothing to do with that.
But you probably did help him to understand what was going on with himself whereas otherwise he may have just been confused for a long time.
In a way you probably helped him...

You can't turn some one TS. They are born that way. It has been proved that the section of the brain called the Amigdula matches that of the female brain or about 45% the size of the male.

Absolutely not.
Recent science has confirmed that homosexuality and aberrent sexual behavior and preferences, including transgender tendencies, are a result of nature, not nurture. In other words, he was born predisposed to prefer these things and came to appreciate them more, likely, given an early introduction to them.
Certainly, his early experiences influenced his lifestyle decisions, but he did not "choose" this fetish - he was born with it.

Nope, playing dress-up is a game most children play. It is just playing. Just like when little kids dress up like rock-stars, brides, aliens, pirates or whatever. It doesn't make it so. Even though I do like pirates. (Humm, Captain Jack Sparrow)

no- you may have helped him figure out his identity, but you shouldn't feel guilty. many believe that being gay isn't something you can help, that it's something you were born with. it might be hard accepting your brother like this, but just imagine if it was you instead. no matter what, you should accept him the way he feels about himself and show support. there are too many people out there who do the opposite and make people who are gay feel like the way they identify is a crime.

I don't think that you are wrong, but if you survey a lot of transsexuals, they would say that this is the way they got their start. From playing dress up.
