THE LONGEST - LASTING 19-inch TV is " SHARP " (mine is about 13 years old)
MY "SANYO " VCR is about 9 years old and was used hard , and I never had an ounce of trouble with it
My "SONY " CD player was bought in 1990, and it still works like the day I bought it .
Our car CD player is " PIONEER " , and it is trouble - free and also skip - free when you hit a bump in the road.

I say RCA because they last a really long time. My mom has a RCA TV and it lasted for like 10-13 years. WOW...I know..

sony kicks b o o t y ...but there are other brands out of the mainstream that are pricey such as bang and olfusen...tooo many brands is hard to tell

Have had great luck with Panasonic (dvd/vhs/music system) and also tvs.
