No. Get over it, quit whining and feeling sorry for yourself and move on.

-Boy I admire goes ugly on me (Then get a new boyfriend...he isn't worth it).
-Family is a mess (But you don't have to be.)
-Friends aren't there when they say they will (Maybe they just got tied up. Things happen.)
-You ask for a "pick-me-up" on this site and get nasty momma jokes (You should know by now to ignore them...or laugh with them.)
You are having a bad day...but the good news is, you get another chance tomorrow...and if there is no tomorrow, your troubles are over.) The only person you are disappointing, is yourself. Cheer up...and keep your faith.

To answer your original question...? Yes, there will be such a day when people won't let you down and I hope to see you there. Just remember: Love is forgiving and for giving. Try making the world a better place and things will start looking up again. What goes around, comes around is actually biblical. Talk to God more every day and discuss anything and everything with Him. You'll see... Things will start improving soon enough... Just do your part to BE the love...

you know what I was feeling exactly the same way about a week ago. Until I went out for lunch with my friends. I know what you mean...everyone feels negative whenever the world seems to crash down at once.
No I doubt that there will be a day when people don't let you down...but what I've noticed is that some people who unintentionally let you down sometimes do something unintentionally that makes you REALLY HAPPY so you tend to forget that they let you down.
You know what? I have to admit that I've been having the exact same issues that you are having right now. (Besides the last one.) The guy I'm with has been being a jerk and is confusing me, my family is going crazy, and my friends totally forgot about me (until last week when they invited me out to lunch...so I guess that's ok). I'm gonna pray for both of us.

I agree with you, but I also try to see the best in people. If someone lets me down, I just forgive them. I've come to realize that I shouldn't rely on others' actions, only my own. When I had cancer the past year, I isolated myself from everyone else(not saying you should do this), and I learned to be happy by myself. Now I introduced myself to all my friends and the world once again, and no matter what happens, I can be happy.

Well as depressing as it sounds no people will always let you down no matter what.. They say it is the cycle of life.. I must say if it is it sucks.. But the best advice I can give you is to hold your head up high & try your hardest not to let anyone down.. The answer to your other question is that is my life 100% I am always being let down in some way or another so I take my own advice & try not to let anybody else down.. Good Luck.. & I hope things start looking up for you...

It's awful when no one seems to care. What helps me is to go out and get involved in something, anything that will get you away from your misery. Volunteer at the Boys and Girls club, or a senior center, or a community center in your city. Anything you can do to get away, out of the house, out of yourself, really helps.
When you're helping others, it makes you feel good about yourself, and nobody can take that away from you. Just remember, always move forward, never sit still. You can IM or email me if you need someone to talk to. I'm not a perv, just a Mom whose kids are gone, and I love to help kids when I can.

Whenever I feel that everyone is letting me down I lower my expectations. I have one friend who is always, always late, so instead of getting mad at her every time, I choose to lower my expectation and KNOW she'll be late, and then adjust my time accordingly. And asking for a 'pick-me-up' on Yahoo Answers is like playing Russian Roulette :). If it's any consolation, you sound like a really nice, sensitive, kind person, and, I'm delighted to see, you use good grammar, punctuation and capital letters. That makes it one of the best posts I've ever seen here! :)

Good Question.
I dont know if that day will come.
I used to stress over it.
Have learnt to move on from it
.It only causes you to doubt yourself.
This can lead to depression.
When things get you down shake yourself off and go do something that gives you pleasure.
You are a better person than to let life's problems get toyou.
Find your inner peace and be happy

I've been let down so many times by family members, boyfriends and so called friends, and wonder why? Because we tend to put so many expectations on a person, when we should just step back watch and listen to who they really are. Expect the Unexpected.
